Overall Purpose:


Reporting to the Workshop Manager / Foreman, the Fitter is responsible for the following:-


  • Complying with Company Policies and Procedures and upholding the companies Values at all times.
  • Repairing / overhauling and maintaining plant & tools, economically and efficiently both at depots and on site, ensuring that customer breakdowns are dealt with in a timely manner to limit downtime, and machines are serviced in time to ensure hire commitments are met.
  • Ensuring all repair work necessary as a result of customer damage is recorded and paperwork is raised to ensure customer is charged appropriately.
  • Ensuring tools are used correctly, adequately maintained, tested before use, and securely stored.
  • Obtaining / requesting from stores all parts necessary to carry out repairs.
  • Salvaging usable parts from machines being repaired / scrapped.
  • Carrying out minor welding tasks on plant.
  • Carrying out minor painting to plant.
  • Carrying out minor electrical tasks on plant.
  • Ensuring all work is carried out in a safe and timely manner without risk to yourself and others whether on site or at a depot in line with the Company’s Health & Safety Directives, Method Statements and procedure.
  • Wearing appropriate safety clothing and using safety equipment to complete the task undertaken in the working environment in accordance with the Company’s P.P.E requirements.
  • Maintaining a safe and hazard free work area be it on customer site or within premises.
  • Checking company vehicles before use and driving in a safe and courteous manner, along with timely reporting of any vehicle defects.
  • Reporting any accidents (person, property or vehicles) via the Accident / Incident report system.
  • Carrying out any other duties as requested by immediate line manager or Director.
  • An NVQ Level 3 and CSCS Card is a requirement for this role

Overall Purpose:

Our drivers are the face of our distribution operation visible to thousands of customers and potential customers whilst out on the road.  Our drivers regularly interact with our shop teams and our suppliers.

Role responsibilities:

  • Completing delivery drops to shops.

  • Collecting waste and other items from the shop to return to the depot.
  • Conducting daily vehicle checks

Overall Purpose:


We are recruiting for a Lift Repairs Supervisor with excellent leadership and communication skills, to support the Customer Support Manager in all aspects of regional management and business development, responsibilities include the following:

  • Process orders, including control of stage payments
  • Carry out site inspections including scope of work, details of specifications, identification of parts required and programming of all works
  • Order parts to budget and ensure delivery to timescale
  • Maintain stock control
  • Liaise with customers to ensure client satisfaction and manage customer expectations
  • Supervise and support a team of Engineers, Labourers and Sub contractors

We require a Loading Systems Project Sales Executive to cover the North of the UK from Leicester upwards. The role can be based out of any one of our Northern Offices in Leeds, Manchester or Stockton.

You should have experience in some (or all) of the following:-

IT Systems Technician Teesside

Post Title: IT Systems Technician

Overall Purpose:


Due to a departmental restructure we now require an IT Systems Technician who will be responsible for IT user support, network infrastructure maintenance and support, Windows network domain administration, network performance and security, mobile device support (Android and IOS).

This role will involve the candidate working closely within a team of dedicated IT technicians and following strict operational procedures as well as procurement, configuration, deployment and monitoring of new server hardware and software, routing and switching equipment, firewalls and IP voice services.

The primary function will be to provide 1st and 2nd level IT support on a daily basis to both office based staff and field based engineers. This IT support will cover all aspects of hardware and software to ensure that the company’s daily business routine continues unabated from any IT and system problems.

Candidates must have previous experience in an IT Support role with exposure to a broad range of technologies, operating systems and environments, experience in installing, configuring and troubleshooting Windows Server & Desktop O/S based environments including Active Directory Management, Group Policy and general support issues.

Experience with virtualization technologies (i.e. Hyper V, VMware), SAN storage technologies and Virtual application/Thin client technologies such as Citrix Xen/Receiver would be an advantage.
