Post Title: Lifts Service Engineer - Scotland

Salary: Depending on experience

Location: Glasgow and central belt.



Overall Purpose:


Responsible for:

Lift Service, maintenance, call-out and repair in Scotland. Carrying out Routine Maintenance, attending to call outs and completion of repairs to customer lifts and completion of jobs sheets and customer paperwork etc.


Main Duties:

  • Minor repairs, corrective maintenance, and routine servicing on customer sites / lifts
  • Participating in an out of hours call out on a rota basis
  • Completion of job sheets electronic and manual as well as customer paperwork where necessary (electronic and manual) as well as logging onto / off customer systems as required


Person Specification:

  • Be self-motivated, have great customer service skills and have the ability to show a high standard of workmanship whilst working under minimum supervision
  • Must hold a valid driving licence
  • Computer knowledge – as you will be required to use customer log on systems and company tablets
  • Qualified to or above NVQ3 (or equivalent) in a lift engineering discipline
  • Be able to work as part of a team
  • Good Communication skills
  • Must have a “can do” approach to work and work for the good of the business
  • Must be willing to undertake further training as required

In addition to the above the post-holder will be required to undertake additional duties as appropriate to the nature and level of the role.


Electrical Engineer South Yorkshire

Post Title: Electrical/Mechanical Engineer (Trainee Lift Engineer)

Salary: £11ph whilst training, offering earning potential of £30k plus once experienced.

Location: South Yorkshire (Sheffield/Rotherham/Doncaster)



Overall Purpose:


Please Note: Must have a solid understanding of Electrical Engineering, and be prepared to undertake job specific training which could involve working alongside an industry qualified engineer for a period of time.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to transfer their skills into the Lift/Elevator industry. Earning potential once trained is very good.


As a Lift Engineer you will be responsible for

  • Servicing & Maintenance of existing Passenger, Goods, Service and Platform Lifts.
  • You will have the skills and confidence to carryout repairs on breakdowns and callouts, as well as minor repairs and planned repairs as and when required
  • You will be required to attend callouts and breakdowns as part of your normal day to day duties, as well as being part of an “On Call – Out of Hours” response team
  • Solving issues across a portfolio of lifting equipment and carrying out industry LG1 examinations
  • You will be expected to self-manage and plan your route to meet the changes which occur daily, with callouts and breakdowns etc
  • Meeting agreed customer response times and building relationships with our clients.
  • You will be expected to report back any findings or advisory works which can be recommended back to the client following servicing or callouts
  • You will be expected to communicate closely with both our clients and the admin team
  • Problem solving and working on your own initiative

HGV 2 Driver Hertfordshire

Post Title: HGV Class 2 Driver – Welwyn Garden City

Salary: £25.5k Basic, based on 40hrs plus paid overtime

Location: Welwyn Garden City

HGV Class 2 Driver, Welwyn Garden City, £12.48 per hour plus overtime, Guaranteed minimum 40 hours per week, with paid overtime

Person Specification

What will I be doing?

  • Visiting our domestic customer properties and collecting waste sewage.
  • Operating our tanker with skill and necessary safety awareness.
  • Forming part of our on-call rota, completing out of hours emergency work.
  • Working together with our transport depot to deliver excellent service to our long serving customers.


We are looking for somebody who is enthusiastic, hardworking and committed to delivering the best possible service to our customers. Experience as a HGV sewage tanker driver is advantageous. A HGV Class 2 licence, possession of a Digi-card, and current CPC qualification is required.
